Lotus Renault is now official- New Livery Picture

So the link up is now official, wonder where that leaves the other Lotus.  Here is the first picture of what the livery will be.  Nice, but why can't Total blend in with the rest of the car?!

Looks like it is war between the two Lotus camps as Group Lotus and Genii Capital appear to have stolen the rival Team Lotus clothes for 2011. I guess this means Tony's boys can stick with British Racing Green again.

I like it. Odd, because they're using the BRG & yellow on their IRL car. I hope the other Lotus stays with the BRG now. I really do prefer it.

A black side plate with a gold Total would have blended
in much better.

Even with the Total, one of the best looking F1 cars I've seen in a while!

I agree the dashes of red stick out... but I wonder what it will look like in motion.  Being framed in red will certainly make it easier to see what's going on in close driving.

Best F1 livery in a long long while and yes, the red end plates suck. I hope they're competitive and it gets some TV time so fans can voice their displeasure so that Total may change their mind about the colour.

This is not really official until the High Court makes it's ruling. If Fernandes wins, Group Lotus may be liable for damages. I understand their finances are a bit shaky.

I'm not impressed I find the lines too thick and and it should be more gold than nyellow but I would expect it to be tweeked prior to the car launch.
It will be interesting as to what Team Lotus come up with to make them stand out from Lotus Renault.

We won't be missing this car on track next year, looks amazing. Lets hope it goes as well as it looks, I would love to see Lotus mixing it with the big boys.
