I watched this docu on the 60's F1 yesterday, absolutely horrendous the lack of safety, and the drivers that burnt to death trapped in their cars. It's well worth watching but beware, there are some gruesome clips.

BBC5 is a new one on me Ian, we only get 1 to 4 in our area in England, is 5 especially for Kent like you get BBC Wales and Scotland?
