Coulthard backtracks
« on: January 28, 2007, 01:54:56 AM »
SCOTS Formula One ace David Coulthard has denied that he claimed English rookie Lewis Hamilton had entered the sport too early.

But yesterday Coulthard, who raced for McLaren for nine years and during that period worked with the 22-year-old from Hertfordshire - who will partner double world champ Fernando Alonso at McLaren - hit back at the comments which caused a major backlash at the end of last year.

Coulthard said: "Let me be quite clear about this right from the start: Lewis deserves fully to be in F1.

"Lewis is clearly a talent and his winning the GP2 championship last year merely prove how good he is."

I just hope Lewis will make him eat his words:

I think he will Big Time!
Coulthard should be a test driver somewhere! He clearly is not in the big league ,anymore. He is not an Ace,he has never done anything but get in the way!!!!
