My Son got a dartboard for Christmas from his Girlfriend and I was round his flat, playing (or trying to) when he hit the wire on the board, the dart bounced off and hit my Wife on the back of the head whilst she was sitting on the floor playing with our Grandson. 

(un) Fortunately it didn't stick in and bounced off her - I'm so glad it wasn't me playing because she would never have believed me! 

So in answer to your question, no I don't play - not anymore

Good story Wizard, I like that

The most fun I ever had playing Darts was when I was bit younger. We used to have parties at one of my mates house and we used to get another of my mates (Gary) to go out in the garden and balance the dartboard on top of his head . Yep, you guessed it, the rest of us would storm upstairs and chuck the darts out of the top window.

I was throwing darts last night down at the AMVETS. We used to have an electronic board with plastic tips but went back to bristle boards with steel tips.
     Oddly enough, it took us several years to get boards into the club. Some of the older guys (WW 2) thought that darts lead to drug use!
