This Orange has enough juice
« on: January 30, 2007, 09:15:49 PM »

There is certainly no shortage of German tuning houses out there, without outfits like Lumma Design, who would be around to turn a BMW M5  into a screaming orange monster like Lumma's CLR 500 R-S?

At first glance, the CLR 500 R-S looks more than a bit garish with its 21-inch wheels, carbon fiber trim, widebody kit, and gargantuan rear diffuser, but when you realize that 560 horsepower is being coaxed out of the F1-inspired 5.0 liter V-10, it all begins to make sense.

Believe it or not, all of the aero add-ons have actually been tested for functionality in a wind tunnel. And the car was lowered 40mm courtesy of suspension experts, H&R.

The blinding orange exterior theme (what's with all the orange cars lately?) is continued on the inside with matching leather trim and gauges, as well as an anodized aluminum steering wheel.

Rumor has it that this Uber-M5 is capable of at least 200 mph.

Very nice indeed Wizard, but what happens ,when it meets up with the more increasing speed bumps?
