I'm a complete petrol head and would watch any motorsport that's put in front of me.

In years gone by I would religiously watch everything on TV. Alas now I never seem to find the time to watch anything although my favourite has always been F1 so I insist that I watch (nearly) ever race throughout the year.

Where DID I used to find the time?  :DntKnw:

Almost everything with wheels and an engine.
However, I consider different favourites in terms of following on television or spectating at the tracks (with some cross-overs).
My favourites on TV (in order) are:- F1, BTCC, World Superbikes, British Superbikes, MotoGP, World Touring Cars, DTM + anything from the USA that gets decent coverage.
My favourites to see on track are:- BTCC, Drag Racing, British Superbikes, karting (mostly to watch my son).

I used to go to as many F1 meetings as I could but they are bank breakingly expensive, I get really Pee'd off with the Corporate idiots that are there on a freebie and have no interest in the racing and, at many tracks, the spectator has no idea of what is going on in the race apart from the one or two corners that he/she can actually see.

BTCC has three races per meeting plus excellent support races making a full day petrolhead dream.
Drag racing must be witnessed live. Fuelers, Funnies and Pro-modifieds assault every sense; you see, feel, hear and smell drag racing. I must, must get over to more tracks in the US to witness the very best.

Seeing I asked the question:  F1 (obviously), GP2, F3, Indy, WRC, Nascar, BTCC, WTCC, LeMans, IRC, Moto GP, DTM, V8 Supercars

Don't get:   Superleague, GP3, the current F2

Hey Monty, if you want to see The top of Drag Racing, make a pilgrimage to the US Nationals at Indy sometime. It is a spectacular show, everybody is super friendly, and you can make a fabulous side trip to Indy itself. If you haven't seen IMS, you can't quite grasp it for what it truly is.

Lonny, it is on my list.
Must prepare better than when I tried to go to a Winston Cup race. A few years ago I was in Winston Salem on business and went to the track on race day to buy a ticket. When the girl stopped laughing she explained politely that it had been sold out for about 4months!
