I still do not know how you come up with £60 per race?
£60 per month I may believe although I cannot recall paying that when I was in the UK. My nephew reconed £32 per month?
So I'm still confused!! :DntKnw:

I think it's calculated like this Andy, 12 months SKY TV 'variety' (basic minimum) pack + 2 sports channels + HD payment = £50 a month, so 12 x £50 = £600. Half the races are on BBC for no extra charge, therefore the cost of 10 races on Sky is £600. Hence the calculation of £60 per race to make sure you see all the races live.

Autosport ran a poll last week the results were:

Yes (I would sign up) if there were no legal alternative: 6.9%
I would stop watching f1: 23%
I will watch illegally on line: 41.1%
I already subscribe: 10.9%
Depends on price: 14.1%
I might pay to stream some races: 4%

Thanks John breaking it down that way that's true but I expect that Sky will improve the visual show which will benefit me in NZ (and anyone else who already has sky Sports) I'm assuming that the price here will stay the same. :DntKnw:

I am about to buy a house and am gutted that sky have got the F1. Love the BBC coverage.

However there is nothing we can do about it. So I'm going to sign up.

My one true hope it that they use their heads an poach some of the F1 team from the BBC including Eddie Jordan, David Couthard and Martin Brundle. Jake Humphrey has a huge involve with many BBC programs so I highly doubt he will be going anywhere.

Onwards and upwards people!

Surely it can never be as bad as when it was on the ITV!!!!!

At least I could watch it on ITV, which Sky won't let me do!
