Raikkonen is NOT going to Williams next year, just been announced during quali.

I heard that too, Ian. Too bad. I'd like to see him back.

I'm not fussed about Raikkonen Cos, I think Mika was better.

Instead they seem to be leaning toward Valtan Bottas (hope I spelled that right). Now there's a move that will take them up the grid.

I agree with that, Ian, but there's no chance of Mika coming back.

I think Bottas is in the queue behind Adrian Sutil, and Adrian has two advantages - solid funds from personal sponsors and an impressive driving record.

People forget how good Kimi was at Mclaren

You always have to remember that Frank doesn't rate drivers. I don't know that he thinks there's a lot of difference between Sutil and Bottas, especially with Sutil's reputation as not being very technical.

I think it's a shame.  Kimi would be good for Williams.  They need some jazz, and he would have certainly provided it.

I agree. Kimi wants part of the team owner and he has high salary so it is soon possible that he will not join with Williams. Another else candidate is Valtteri Bottas, he has done great job in Macao and his formula class. ;)

Welcome back Kimi! :good:

They pulled that out of their hat quicker than expected, lets hope they can keep that pace up next year.  :D
