Performance Car Action Day
« on: February 05, 2007, 08:37:45 AM »

Castle Combe circuit's now booking for its Performance Car Action Day. The circuit organisers said that club and individual drivers are now booking track time and display space for the event on Saturday 21 April.

Many motor clubs have already taken advantage of the free display space and free admission tickets on offer for this season-opening event.

These include clubs specialising in Peugeot, Subaru, Saab, Ford and Sunbeam Tiger cars.

Several clubs have also booked exclusive track sessions. Clubs who take advantage of this scheme know who is on the circuit with their group and the time of their track session. A limited number of these exclusive sessions is available, before all track times go on general offer. With extra free admission passes on offer to the first 20 applicants, plus half-price track passes, clubs can still claim a bargain.

For individual enthusiasts, there are some money-saving offers for those booking track passes in advance. Last year's event virtually sold out of track passes in advance, disappointing many who turned up on the day.

Traders have also been keen to book early, as buying space at the opening day gets you a trade site at Eurofest in September for free.

Among many attractions on 21 April will be the judging of the Car of the Show, the Club Stand of the Show and - new for 2007 - the Track & RaceCars Magazine special display area, where mouthwatering cars arranged by the magazine will be on show.
