Whoar....Ireland 52 : Italy 10

How about that David, are you off the ceiling yet. That No 5 O'Connell, what a strong player, would'nt fancy running up against him, thats for sure.

I'm a big Rugby union fan too- I support Worcester Warriors and Sixways (stadium) is within walking distance from where i am-been to most home games this season and you can sometimes hear the cheers from the crowd if the wind is blowing in the right direction!

I'm an England fan through and through.

Too close Ju, we were good but gave away too many penalties, I was'nt too impressed with the ref though, liked his own voice too much and Charlie Sharples shoud never have been sin-binned, the French guy's offence was much worse and only got a penalty, happy with the result though.  :good:

It was an exciting game, but the ref wasnt much cop- there was no need for the yellow for Charlie to be sin binned.

Totally agree with both of you there, the ref was an idiot and the yellow was way too harsh but I was impressed by the shut out whilst down to 14 men  :good:

Also Ian I do agree, too close for comfort but for such a young team, in Paris, that was really all about the result. Just wish England would not give away so many stupid penalties...though on the plus side it is hilarious to listen to Brian Moores commentary when they do. He just says it how it is hehe

I was'nt taking anything away from the team, as you say, for a young team I thought they were great.

Good result for England on Saturday Ian.  :good:

You mean you did'nt watch it David, yeh, they did. First half was pretty boring but it livened up in the 2nd half.
