I just despise the BBC Cos, you'd have thought at least they would have shown the opener in Aussie. >:D

From what I gather, the BBC were a bit limited in what they could take, since the division of races entailed the BBC picking 3 races (it went for Monaco, Silverstone and the season-ender), Sky picking 3 races, then each station picking one in turn. If Sky took the season-opener as one of its initial 3 races, the BBC would only have got it by dropping Monaco, Silverstone or the season-ender.
