Kimi set for grid penalty in Sepang

Looks like gearbox change could scupper some GG predictions.        

The team announced on their Twitter page: "A bit more work for Kimi's crew this evening. An issue with Kimi's gearbox so we're changing it now."
 
A gearbox change means an automatic five-place grid penalty.

The problem with the gearbox appears to be as a result of damage suffered when the former World Champion went off the track in Australia and grass clippings collected in his radiator, causing the gearbox to overheat.
 
Slight structural damage has occurred as a result and the team have decided to change the gearbox rather than risk retirement during the race.
 
Raikkonen didn't enjoy a happy return to F1 qualifying in Australia when he was knocked out in Q1.
 
However, despite the poor showing in qualifying, the Finn fought back to finish the race in seventh.

Considering the transmission regulation was brought in to save money by ensuring the teams build robust and fewer transmissions, there still should be something said about a car in an accident or other incident which damages the transmission.  5 place grid penalty - 

Oh well, like fanatic says, it'll be fun to watch him battle back.
