Don't quite know how they've done it, but it's really staggering. :swoon:

I can see way too much of my time being spent looking through this little lot.  ;)

Cracking one John, IE would'nt open it but Google Chrome would, it certainly will take some time to go through them all.  :good:

Great to see them all.  1972-75 were pretty hard on the eyes, at least from side view.  I guess the 2012's maybe aren't so bad after all...  ;)

Doesn't seem like enough to me :)

Of course, many years of F1 featured 'older' cars, instead of the constant rule changes requiring new cars in the 'modern' era.

Also they used to have customer cars too I guess.

I just love love how there is so much variety in the older cars, that the designers really could just use their imagination, instead of fudging the rules by 2 mm.

Your right Jeri, there's more imagination in the older
F1 cars, same goes for the old Indy cars

Technically, every car that raced at Indy in the 50's was a Formula 1 car, too.  ;)

I did notice that America's first F1 car, Lance Reventlow's Scarab F1 was missing.

Very cool to see. Thanks.
Would love to the same picture from a top view to see those changes.

I really like the early - mid 60's cars.

Its a stunning and astonishing cars and the way it is presented says the very least of speed demons evolution in the last 6 decades. A treat to the eyes.. :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

Thanks for the post buddy.... :good: :good: :good: :good:

I guess those cars people are talking about, yes I do agree, they are build with more imagination, and courage and sheer passion for speed, but you also have to understand, these machines has taken the lives if Jim, Hill, Giles, Senna and many more.. That is why the regulation changes are required and imagination and insanity to curbed for realistic safety issue..

I hate to be the spoiler of respecting the golden era of designing, but every time I go through Jim, Giles or Senna, wondering what if they survived, then I give a silent nod to this regulatory changes with tear in my eyes.. :'( :'( :'(

I also have tears while watching all the cars of this picture, wondering when I might be able to have all the replicas...

Spent 20mins looking through that last night, great to see the transitions. I think it would make a great poster but it would have to be huge, and the wife might allow me to put it up in the living room.  ;)
