Ferrari hire a new areodynamicist
« on: April 19, 2012, 11:04:44 PM »

Now they will be able to learn the secrets of HRT & Marussia cars.   :D

Ferrari has bolstered its aerodynamic team by hiring a former Red Bull team member. Italy’s Omnicorse, and Marca in Spain, are reporting that Briton Ben Agathangelou has been signed by the famous Maranello based team, who in 2012 are struggling notably in the area of aerodynamics.

Omnicorse said he was the choice of technical director Pat Fry, who worked with Agathangelou at McLaren. The report said one of his tasks will be integrating Ferrari’s in-house wind tunnel activites with the outsourcing at Toyota’s state of the art facility at Cologne.

Among Agathangelou’s recent jobs are with Dallara on the HRT project, and most recently with Marussia. He has also worked with Benetton, Mclaren, Jaguar/RBR, Honda, and Brawn GP.

Probably Marussia & HRT realized they did not required this man service, as this man give them few tenth of a second advantage, where they are required few second advantage, so why not sell the man, and get some upgrades, so that they could try to emulate Sauber's result this year..

Not a bad strategy, eh?
