Marco Andretti wants more time in a Formula One car after completing two days of testing with Honda at Jerez in Spain.
The 19-year-old American, whose father Michael and grandfather Mario both raced in Formula One, spent the test driving for Honda and was left desperate for more action after his run-out.
"It's been awesome to have the chance to get back in a F1 car this week and I would really like to thank the Honda team for giving me this second opportunity.
"I was happy with my long run pace over the test but the one lap times are something that I am sure would come with further time in the car."
Andretti's previous experience behind the wheel of a Formula One car came in dry conditions at the same circuit in mid-December.
But he proved himself as being well up to the challenge of wet conditions as he lapped within a second and a half of Honda race driver Rubens Barrichello - despite driving a year-old car.
He added: "I have really enjoyed my two days here, and by the end of the second day with the wet conditions, I feel that I've really adapted to the way that the car has to be driven.
"So the weather was actually quite useful for me and I've now experienced a little bit of everything in only three days."
There is no chance however of Andretti making a Formula One switch this year though, as he has already been confirmed as one of four drivers in his father's Andretti-Green IndyCar squad.
