Volvo Announces 13 Liter Liquified Natural Gas Engine

Volvo will release a 13-liter liquefied-natural-gas engine for for it's semi trucks in the  North American market in 2014. It sounds like a good idea all the way around.

Except that you can't find LNG on every corner like diesel.

In the cities it's pretty easy to find, at least here in Europe (can't speak for England ), and in Canada it's all over the place.

Trucking companies are the masters of logistics.  They won't send a truck where it can't refuel.  Communities not getting trucks - or getting trucks with rising costs passed on to the consumer - will figure the problem out right quick.
