SPA TEST GETS GO-AHEAD
« on: February 12, 2007, 09:42:04 AM »
The Formula One teams will reportedly head to Belgium in July for a test session at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit.

As previously reported, the F1 teams are keen to test at Spa prior to the Belgian GP due to the recent, and still on-going, upgrades to the circuit.

However, as they were scheduled to test at Barcelona during that week, July 10th to 12th, the proposal was put forward to the team bosses and Formula One's testing committee.

It has now been revealed that the Spa test session has been given the go-ahead as construction work on the track is expected to be completed at least two months prior to the mid-July test.

The Belgian Grand Prix will take place on September 16th.

Love to go Stig, just can't rack enough pennies up to go to one, never mind, as long as I can watch 'em on telly  :D

I will be looking at 2009 Australian G.P. if the pennies can be stored.......It will cost more to fly there than the 4 day pass
