Life After F1 Team Ownership..

Former team owner Peter Sauber will return to formula one's pit lane this year.

The 63-year-old Swiss sold his Hinwil based team to BMW but last year attended ten grands prix to liaise with continuing sponsors including Credit Suisse and Petronas and BMW's VIP guests.

Sauber retains the role for 2007 and will also report from the heart of the action for Swiss TV.

"I will work in the pit lane for Swiss TV," he confirmed on the BMW-Sauber squad's official website.

The report added that Sauber's schedule will include attendance at "numerous" grands prix.

The Stig
