Free Practice - All So Depressingly Familiar
« on: March 15, 2013, 02:58:15 PM »
So Vettel was fastest in both practice sessions today.  I already get the feeling that he's got the race bought and paid for, providing his car doesn't break down.  Red Bull's pace was really ominous in practice two, and I can't see anyone challenging him on pace.

Can anyone give me some hope?

Perhaps one of our members who's at Albert Park could sabotage his engine :D?

Doesn't look good, does it.   :( :(  Well, I picked Webber for pole, so I guess I'm betting with my heart this first race  :fool: :fool:

I'd love Mark to win at home, but his record at Albert Park is terrible.  He has Barrichello's Interlagos curse it would seem.

Well I wouldn't mind our GPW members doing some Voodoo magic on Vettel's car. Though it will mean havoc for my GG picks, but I will give up anything for great racing. That boy is good, he just made me realize that, well again sort of. :D

I thought McLaren will struggle, but never expected by this margin. I am pretty impressed with Jules Bianchi, because he was out pacing Charles Pic almost by a second. :swoon:

Caterham will be the disaster of the season, but they are saying they are looking for improvement during European events, not before that.

Caterham don't look in good shape at all BD, I have to agree.  I don't really understand what's going on there, as they really stagnated last year, and have seemingly fallen back this year.

McLaren also look pretty poor, so I suspect Hamilton is currently feeling quite pleased with his decision to move, but let's see how long Mercedes can keep up their surprising level of relative pace for.
