Does anyone else think these are awful, or is it just me?

Glad about that, thanks Ian. I can count the things I don't like on the atoms of one hand.

Good way to get the kiddies into F1.

Do you think so? I've asked my kids and friends' kids about this and the first thing a couple of them said was, 'Is that supposed to be Jenson Button?' They sort of enjoyed watching the cartoon, but didn't asked about it once afterwards. The cartoon simply doesn't relate to F1 racing, so how McLaren think it'll help is beyond me. Not to mention it's competing with tonnes of other cartoons that kids already love.

My kids seem quite into the race, especially the start. They like trying to remember names of drivers, and who's in which car, details like that. It's details and stats in sport that gets kids interested I think. Kids are more wise to gimmicks than so-called experienced marketing people give them credit for.

I think Mclaren need to prioritize where they spend their money this year, because wasting it on marketing while their car is a shame isn't really working.
