United SportsCar Announces 2014 Schedule

IMSA has announced the 2014 schedule for the new Tudor United SportsCar Championship. And the news ain't good.

No Mid-Ohio. No Lime Rock. No Prototypes eligible for Le Mans. None of the classes will be in every race. The Indy race will still be a Friday undercard race for NASCAR. COTA remains.

There will be 12 races, but none of the classes will participate in more than 11 races. For example, the GT Le Mans class won't be at Detroit on May 31st because it's too close to Le Mans. However, the Prototypes will be there, so it looks like none of them will be going to France.
