I went from XP to Win8 on my desktop and found to my horror that my expensive graphics card has no driver update for W8. So I live in fear that one day my screen will just go dark, as W8 has already informed me that it has a problem with my GTX.

This morning I noticed that Apple has pushed out a new update for iTunes.  I wonder if their ears are burning from all the irate customers and they have put together a quick fix to put the info tab back in.   Hoping so...I'll let you know shortly.

Check out the W8.1 update, Lonny. It's free to W8 users. It's supposed to iron out a number of issues with W8.

I know how you feel. I have a number of rather pricey CD from British Motor Heritage. Each one contains all of the factory service & parts publications (even the parts microfiche)  for a given model of classic British cars. They won't work on anything above XP.

Someone else said I should go down to W7, but I find there is no driver compatible with it either. It seems Microsoft  wants to force you to upgrade your hardware to a touch screen. They have been remarkably unsuccessful at selling Windows phones, I guess they're thinking if they make all their systems the same, people will switch.
