Wet season finale in Brazil
« on: November 21, 2013, 01:10:08 PM »

Might be our only hope for a exciting race this year.I
foresee this will be the future of F1 where rain equals
close races .Now if I only could predict lottos as well

from Planet F1

The Formula One season could end in a deluge with heavy rain forecast for Sao Paulo this weekend.

Friday's first practice could be the wettest of the weekend with thundery showers expected which should fade to a light rain by the afternoon. The maximum temperature will reach 21'C.

There will be more rain on Saturday but only light rain throughout the day with a high of 18'C.

However, on Sunday the conditions will grow steadily worse with heavy rain forecast in the closing stages of the Brazilian Grand Prix.

Sunday's high will be 22'C with a 10mph South-Easterly wind.

Last season Jenson Button won in the rain for McLaren after starting second on the grid.

Right after that, he said that the best thing that could happen for his future was to leave McLaren. Sour grapes much?

Always enjoy how rain shakes things up. As long as nobody gets in an injury accident, it makes everything a tad more interesting.
Hell, maybe this will give Mark a chance to go out on the top step!

Like many of the races this season, Brazil, which normally produces a good, exciting race, turned out to be more or less a snoozer.

I did not like it that Massa got a drive-thru for crossing the line on the pit-in.  I have watched races here for many years and watched nearly all drivers do exactly what he did.  Vettel did it on the final lap.  In all fairness, if one driver gets a penalty, ALL should if they commit the same offense.  If they added (as has been done in the past) the pitlane delta to Vettel's time, Webber would have won the race.
Life is short - live each day to the fullest.
