As you guys may or may not be aware, I moderate two other SMF forums, and have a PhD to finish, so I'm only around spasmodically here, which is why I don't tend to log in more than one every week or so.  This is why I haven't replied up until now, but Wizzo notified me via PM (thank you Wizzo) that I'd won, so here I am .

I'm very surprised to be honest, and I feel somewhat embarrassed and self-conscious really.  I was one of these people who never won anything to do with sport for any reason ever, so it's come as a bit of a shock.

Thank you for all the congratulations.  I'm very lucky to have won this, as I was convinced that it would be a wet race, and mixed up my picks a bit accordingly.  The Red Bull 1-2 saved my bacon though, as I'd predicted that come rain or shine.

It has been great competing against you all.  Assuming Formula 1 is more interesting next year I hope to be around to have another great game against you all.

Embarrassed?? For clinching that cliff-hanger? You should not, because you have been consistent through out, always came up with good points, and you hardly dropped from top 3. So well played

Grrrrrrrrrh it's about right Irisado that you're shown in Vettel's car by Dare in another thread, you newbies that clean up in your early years make all us oldies(I mean historic)  competitors seem slower than we really are. Arrrrrrrrrrh!!!!!!!
