Senna - The Last Teammate
« on: May 01, 2014, 04:05:13 PM »
It was 20 years ago today that we lost Ayrton Senna. Here's a Sky TV documentary about that tragic weekend at Imola, when we lost both Senna & Roland Ratzenberger. Those of us around back then will never forget the great sadness of those day, the disbelief that it had happened.

Thank you Cos, a very good if not sombre documentary about a very sad weekend, nevertheless it was compulsive watching. The good thing was that they never showed Roland's or Ayrton's crashes, I don't think any of us would like to see them again.
An aircraft landing is just a controlled crash.

Thank so much for the video Cossie, it gives a completely different outlook of people, who are the most close to a certain tragedy copes themselves up, to address the problem.

When you hear David Brabham trying to block, when Damon Hill says he had benefited from the loss of his team-mate, it shows that these drivers are not your average guy, with flux of emotion you expect from a regular human being, they are racing drivers, more precisely Formula 1 racing drivers, who would compartmentalize these losses, and somehow change this tragedy into something that will keep them pushing them exactly the same that doing which their fellows are not anymore with them.
Keep running the fast cars, you will be never out of girls
