I guess it sounds plausible.  Awfully suspicious though.  I thought for sure it was something to do with duplicate software.

Another perhaps more in depth look at Mercs problems in Canada from Matt Somers.

Aside from the potential for higher temps in the pit stop Matt Somers suggests that the one lap longer, that Rosberg had before his loss of MGU-K, may just have been enough to make the pit wall brake bias fix easier for him.

Dem's just the breaks of being the race leader and calling the pit stop order I guess - championships have hinged on less.  ;)
