F1 Circus appears to still be heading to Russia
« on: July 26, 2014, 03:45:21 PM »
I have to admit I agree with Horner's anger about the press asking the wrong questions to the wrong people.  It is not up to the teams to decide to go or not to go to a race.  They would get sued, or worse, dropped from the following year if they don't show up for a race that the FIA and Bernie have signed up.

The discussion should surely be with Jean Todt and Bernie, but of course neither of them are obliged to speak to the press about any of it.

I don't want to get political on here but I don't think it will worry Putin Lonny, if we threaten to get too heavy with Putin he'll just say, "Ok, in that case I'll turn off your gas and oil." Then the UK and Europe will just roll over and that will be that.

Plus 1 for that view.  ;)

Oh I reserve the right to future comment though, I just love a good controversy. :D
