Don't think Micheal should have been included as he changed his quite a bit over his career. Hill's definitely belongs, and what about Andretti?

I think Hamilton's yellow, as chosen by his father to be visible during karting days, is iconic.  It is too bad he got rid of it.

I also believe that part of Vettel's distinct helmet designs is that the helmets are auctioned off for charity (correct me if I'm wrong).  Buying a distinct design instead of one of 50 has got to help goose the money raised a little bit.  He might never be remembered for his lid, but his place in f1 history is assured anyway.

I agree with Lonnie about Hill's helmet. I would also throw in Dan Gurney's solid black. As the article mentioned about Hunt, black helmets were a rarity back them.
