Singapore Grid Game Problem (SOLVED)
« on: September 20, 2014, 05:23:16 PM »
A security update caused the Grid Game software to become unresponsive today but I believe I have fixed the problem.

IF you cannot place your picks in the normal way then please email them to info@gpwizard.co.uk BEFORE the race deadline.

Sorry for any inconvenience.

I would like to use the drivers in the order they come across the finish line...if you don't mind  ;) ;) :D :D

FYI...when I go to try to post my picks (my banker seems to be gone, probably because it thinks I'm not logged in), it keeps telling me I need to log in, so I log out and then in again like we had to do when it was first set up, but it still says I'm not logged in.

I will email them to you...

I'm having the same problem updating my picks too Scott.

If anyone else wants to update but can't either send your
new predictions to Wiz or me.

Sorry Guys, you may remember the GG is run on a completely separate website and it is this site that has had the security update and I cannot overcome this unless you login to the GG site again.

Can you try this for me.

Click on this link Grid Game Website

Type in your normal username and password for GPWizard and check the box 'Remember Me'

Close the GG website window and then try the GG on GPWizard again.

If you logout of GPWizard then you will also log out of the GG website and you will need to repeat the above.

Let me know how you get on.

OK so heres the deal.

I use two websites 1. GPWizard 2. Grid Game and a small piece of software that links the two together so that your usernames and passwords work on both seamlessly.

Website 2 has automatically upgraded to a new version with increased security. This means that the software linking the two sites no longer communicates correctly. Ironically if you logout of GPWizard you also logout of the GG site but login in does not work the same.

I have had to set up a (hopefully) temporary measure of linking directly to the GG site so you can login manually when you need to place/edit your picks. This will remain in place until the company that makes the 'link' software get their act together.

My tip here would be to remain logged in to GPWizard with the 'Forever' setting and when you login into the Grid Game site then check the box 'Remember Me' this should minimise disruption for you.

Sorry for any inconvenience but I hope you understand me predicament.

Any problems or questions then please let me know.

I think that I've sorted this out for my Japanese Grand Prix picks, as the automated e-mail has been sent to me.
