I can tell you we are probably looking at it from the back end.  Other than that, it means nothing to me until it is in a car lapping with times.

Hard to tell, but it doesn't appear to have a Merc-style split turbo.

The intake part of the turbo could be anywhere under the intake manifold shroud, the 2 connected by a (carbon fiber) shaft. 
In my opinion the farther apart they are the better.
Perhaps there are better pictures and explanation somewhere.

You're right, LW. I was just basing my guess on the intake scoop being aimed right ahead of the exhaust turbine.
