2015 IndyCar Schedule

The IRL has announce their schedule for next season. Six ovals, six road courses and four street circuits. One double header (Detroit). New venues are the Autodromo International Nelson Piquet circuit in Brasilia and NOLA Motorsports Park outside New Orleans. No race in Houston this season. For the first time since 2007, the season ends on a road course.

The good new: No Dubai race. The bad news: Once again, the season ends in August.

April 12: Avondale, La. (NBCSN)

April 19: Long Beach, Calif. (NBCSN)

April 26: Birmingham, Ala. (NBCSN)

May 9: Indianapolis road course (ABC)

May 24: Indianapolis 500 (ABC)

May 30-31: Detroit doubleheader (ABC)

June 6: Fort Worth, Texas (NBCSN)

June 14: Toronto (NBCSN)

June 27: Fontana, Calif. (NBCSN)

July 12: Milwaukee, Wis. (NBCSN)

July 18: Newton, Iowa (NBCSN)

Aug. 2: Lexington, Ohio (NBCSN) 

Aug. 23: Pocono, Pa. (NBCSN)

Aug. 30: Sonoma, Calif. (NBCSN)

Even I remember when Indy opened the season.

Now it's tucked in the middle?

I don't remember the last time I watched an Indycar race.  The races are all supposedly shown live in Canada, but it's a guess as to which channel actually has it any given weekend.  (Rogers (one of the big cable companies) owns the rights, and they put it on 'one of' their channels.  They own about 20 channels, so you've got to hunt around)

I'll probably get to see a grand total of............ Zero.   

I would watch but no TV station I can receive shows it here in England. 

Don't know either whether Scotland or Wales will be able to access it.

I watched as many IRL races as I could this past season. Surprisingly, even Time Worthless carries NBC SN. The network does a good job on both F1 & IRL.

On the other hand, this is the first year I watched almost no American sports car racing. NASCAR has stuck TUSCC out on a fringe channel that isn't available in many areas. Nobody seems to have enough interest in it to stream a bootleg feed, either.
