Next James Bond?

Moore lives about 30min from here in a place called Crans Montana, a ski and golf resort town.  We go there fairly often.  I haven't seen him around town, but the locals say he's out and around all the time, and they really like him.  He's gotten very involved in the community since he moved there 20yrs or so ago, and has earned a lot of respect from the locals who usually ignore celebrities.

When I was young, I quite liked him as The Saint. Of course I really loved his car, as I recall a Volvo P1800.

Moore also made a Bond-like film in 1979, called North Sea Hijack in the UK and Ffolks over here. I thought it was much better than any of his Bond outings.

I hated Ffolks...if you want to see Moore at his
best[imo]see the tv series Persuaders with
Tony Curtis.
