Moss to narrate children series
« on: March 07, 2007, 02:52:15 PM »
Racing legend Stirling Moss will provide the narration to a new television series about motor racing for children.

Moss, winner of 16 Formula One Grands Prix, will narrate pre-school animation 'Roary the Racing Car', which will be launched by the UK's channel Five in on Monday 7th May.

The series, which also features the voice of comic Peter Kay as mechanic Big Chris, is a CGI animation.

It follows the adventures of Roary, a single-seater, and his race car friends at the Silver Hatch race track.

Roary was created by David Jenkins, who worked for years at Brands Hatch and Goodwood.

I hope PBS, the people who brought over Thomas the Tank Engine, picks this up!

Moss has to be the greatest driver never to have won a championship.

cosorth he was a great driver, and it is good he is still involved with the sport.
I think he will be good at narrating Roary,at least he can talk from experience.
