Alonso sad the 2015 season coming to an end
« on: November 11, 2015, 01:43:44 PM »
???  lol...I would think he and Jens would be quite pleased the Annus horribilis is coming to an end.  But I see his point...it would be nice if they could just go back to the old days when they hit the test tracks for the next month or start in January to prepare for the 2016 season.

Seriously, one small fix F1 could make would be to let everyone behind the top three teams or anyone changing engine supplier test to their hearts content so they can actually challenge next year.

It was always going to be a risk with a new engine supplier even if they have been there before but remember McLaren ran Mercedes engines and were still not winning so until Honda get sorted we are not going to know if the chassis is any good.  :DntKnw:

I think that Alonso is being rather hard on himself.  I have not noticed him cruising around this season.  His car has broken on a regular basis, and he's covered the fewest laps of all the regular drivers this season.  It reminds me a bit of Villeneuve's 1999 season at BAR in that respect, except that Alonso has had far fewer accidents.
