We are aiming 4th position says Heidfeld
« on: March 08, 2007, 07:37:26 PM »
 By BMW Sauber F1 Team - March 8 2007

Following the strenuous testing schedule in Bahrain, the BMW Sauber F1 Team driver did not treat himself to a short break, but immediately began with the preparations for the Australian GP.

"After the last day of testing in Bahrain I immediately flew to Australia," the German confirms. "On the one hand, I did this in order to get used to the climate and the time difference, on the other hand, I wanted to take a look at Sydney for a while. I will be in Melbourne one week before the race. I can feel a certain degree of pleasant anticipation."

Nick is hoping to be able to translate this time of preparation into good race results. The 29-year-old is concentrating on realistic goals for himself and the team. According to Nick, the season would be a success, "if we achieve fourth place with the team." He continues: "Even if we managed to dramatically improve our point tally and remained fifth - that wouldn't be too bad either. Personally, I hope to improve my best position in the Formula One to date - that was an eighth place in the drivers' classification. I would be happy if I could achieve that."
The Stig
