Haas' NASCAR team is switching to Ford for 2017

Why post NASCAR news in the F1 forum?

If I can put on my conspiracy hat for a moment here:
  • 2017 new engine formula
  • American engine supplier with a strong history in F1 affiliated with owners of American F1 team

Ford doesn't seem to have learned anything from their last dive down the turbo rat hole in production cars. They are still second only to Ferrari in F1 victories as an engine builder. The only snag would be that they foolishly sold off Cosworth, and I don't think Cosworth has any interest in V6 turbos.

I wonder if they learned from Jag.  Keep out of team ownership and just build the engine everyone wants.
