Be careful what you wish for Liberty, offering a few shares to teams in an to attempt to stop another breakaway series is no substitute for a new Concorde agreement.
Not sure anyone in place of Bernie will have the nounce or clout to force through another high value Concorde deal. They'll need a pretty substantial new model to make their huge investment pay if the current big teams get the smell of blood in the negotiations. I guess they're banking on most of the big hitters being gone in time for the post 2020 Concorde - well Ron & Peter Sauber are gone, Frank is hardly the force he once was and the rest are now mainly corporate appointees who have to report back for instructions, hardly the opposition they once were.
However as a old friend of mine is fond of saying - "you wouldn't even have the shirt on your back after you played cards with any of the F1 team principals".
Highly competitive nature with a killer instinct are pre-requisites for a team boss.
