Malaysian GP stands
« on: March 18, 2017, 04:37:17 AM »
Hi

The tickets are now available for the Malaysian GP has anyone been and where did you sit?
Is there anyone who can offer some advice before I spend any of my hard earned?

Great race to go to but damn hot. We sat in the K1 stand with great views of pit straight and first corner. Recommend it.

Hi,
Yes K1 is undercover as you can see from this pic I took looking back from the track after the race. Notice the sun still blazing hot so even though you're in stand you'll still melt! Having said that I'd definitely go to this race again.

Thanks for that and if you want to go again theres only this year and next as they have said they are not renewing their contract from 2018.

Yep, pencilled it for 2018 as I've already filled my allocation of work holidays this year with GP trips - Baku, Austin and Abu Dhabi beckon for 2017.
