Server Upgrade

Hi everyone,

It's that time again 

We are moving servers wahoo. Fun times 

It should be pretty quick this time. The site will probably only be down for a couple of hours but it will need to be put in maintenance mode to avoid any activity being lost when it comes back up on the new server.

I'm going to do this some time tomorrow. As with last time, you might need to do a hard refresh if you are still seeing maintenance mode for more than a couple of hours.

The new server should have much better performance and will also do away with the need to migrate to upgrade 

I will update here when done so you know you're getting the site from the new server and everyone can post if they see any issues

Hey guys,
Initially there was only one little hiccup but for some reason that I can't fathom it then escalated in to a major issue so we're back on the old server and I'll try again when I next get a chance. Either at some point this week or next weekend  :'(

Oh what a sh1tbag. Found the problem. Will go again on the move when I get a chance. If I have a quiet day this week I'll do it then, if not at the weekend. If the site has a maintenance warning at any point in the next week, that's why

Thanks for getting the work done, and also, somewhat under appreciated, thank you for being as transparent as possible about it.  As long as the lights are on, we're happy, but knowing you're doing the work, and letting us know the when's and how's, both in terms of planning and any hiccups along the way, that's absolutely fantastic.
