A1 GP again!

It seems they are trying to resurrect the racing formula again and saying it'll the fastest race bar F1.
They just need to find $100 million (£80 mill).

I feel like the original A1 GP was trying to fill in a gap in the racing schedule, but now that F1 is (trying to be) running a 24 race schedule, the 'gap' in the schedule is smaller than ever, and I don't think F1 fans are looking to fill it.

I love the idea of a 'world cup' style F1 competition, but we already have IROC which I barely watch, and I'm going to guess most of us, relatively loyal F1 fans, aren't really up on.

I'm not sure what A1 can offer that F1 and IROC aren't already providing.

This must be a good time to try to reboot failed sports leagues. They are trying to restart both the USFL and XFL American football leagues over here.

The thing I liked about A1GP was that they ran on some circuits (like Zanvoort) that I always liked but had been bumped from F1 at the time.
