We often look fondly on how F1 used to operate in the good old days, but none of us could guess what took place behind the scenes.  :crazy:  :crazy: :crazy:

Apparently Gerhard was a serial prankster and in this story, link below, he led poor old EJ up the garden to a non existant wishing well.  ;)

It was left to Bernie to pop the proverbial bubble.  :D  :DD :DD
