Lewis to be joined at Ferrari by Newey?
« on: February 09, 2024, 04:57:51 PM »
Well F1 crazy season started early this year with Lewis' switch to Ferrari. And now Horner's position at Red Bull apparently being at real risk. We'll have to wait and see what the outcome of that investigation is, but this article raises some interesting points:

Maybe Newey could be tempted by Ferrari to join Lewis in 2025, especially should Horner be on his way out and replaced by some corporate guy?

Maybe Lewis actually knew something the rest didn't?

All sorts of rumours flying around on subject of personnel to Ferrari, the link below suggests Pierre Wache is being head hunted too.

My only problem with all these rumours is the Ferrari wage bill now there's a cost cap.
I know a few can be excluded but with the Merc engineers that might go & these latest Red Bull two it starts to look just a bit top heavy on the budget.  ;) :D
