Montoya's 1st NASCAR win.

Juan Pablo Montoya drove his Dodge Avenger to a win today's NASCAR race on the Sears Point road course in Sanoma, California. This is his first Cup win, and only the second win for a driver from outside the US.

Say what you like about Montoya, it took guts to go to NASCAR from F1.  Why?  Because, as the big deal, I've-raced-with-the-best, ex-F1 driver, he has to win or look stupid.  And this win can only be the first of many if he's to preserve any credibility at all.  The point is that F1's reputation as the pinnacle of motor sport rests on JPM's shoulders - we should all be rooting for him to show those good ole boys a thing or two.
