Patrick Depailler Tyrrell P34 Monaco.  I can't imagine a modern team taking the skin off the car to let the world see what is happening underneath.

nice Steven.I've posted this Senna at Monaco
before, but this is the best vid I've ever seen that
shows the pure speed of Monaco and how the
drivers fight the car

There are some drivers like Stewart or Prost who make it look so smooth that you think you could do it yourself.  Then there are others like Senna or Villeneueve who make it clear that you couldn't get anywhere near them.

Steven,
Thanks for the link to the P34. The unforgettable rattles you thought you heard when we first saw it, the smooth way it hugged the curves...definitely one of my favorite pieces of F1 history. Too bad Goodyear wouldn't make tires for the front wheels any more. JOE

The P34 was an amazing car. It's too bad that Ken Tyrrell couldn't make it work. The saddest part is that there's no way that F1 would allow a team to try something that radical today.
