Some amazing footage and information there Dare, well done!  :good:

What a fantastic driver Fangio was and the famous 'Perfect Race' at Nurburgring was far from perfect it was only Fangio's skill that made it so. He was 40 seconds behind the two Ferrari's after a dreadful pit stop - 7 laps to make up 40 seconds! Impossible?

Fangio broke the lap record on 7 consecutive laps to not only catch but to over take both Ferrari's and win the race!

They don't make races like that anymore.  :(

When you see how dominant he was at the age of 46 you have to wonder how many championships he would have won if the world championship had been able to start 10-15 years earlier.
