I suppose for the benefit of all those who don't get UK F1 coverage I should explain that the chain was the theme the BBC used for 20 years and in the mind of the British public it is known as the song from the motor racing.  Despite ITV having taken over the coverage several years ago there are people who think it is still the intro music as it is so deeply ingrained.  Very few people would recognise the ITV music.  If you go to most of the indoor kart centres they will play the chain before the final race.  It is just part of the culture.

For those of us who are obsessed with racing there is an instant response to hearing it.
