Thank You Dare
« on: October 29, 2007, 12:43:59 PM »

The 2007 Grid Game was enjoyed by many of us and all the credit has to go to our good friend Dare, for not only moderating the game, but for coming up with the idea in the first place! He has committed a lot of his own time into running the Grid Game and I cannot let this go unrewarded.

I know you have never asked for anything in return for your hard work Dare, but by way of a thank you, from me and all the other members, I will be sending you the following:

Seconds Count by Graham Turner
SIGNED BY GIANCARLO FISICHELLA
Qualifying 3rd in his Benetton Giancarlo went on to finish a fine second at the Monaco Grand Prix 1998. Complete with certificate of authenticity including a photograph of Giancarlo signing the print. Limited edition of 500 prints.

Enjoy my friend.  :good:

Let me, as Grid Game Champion, be the second person to thank you deeply for all your hard work and great flexibility with modifying the game throughout the season to make it easier and more enjoyable to everyone...... I believe that everyone will agree we could not have had a more proffessional, curteous and fun moderator to compete and play with...

THANK YOU VERY MUCH DARE!!!

All the best and enjoy your well deserved reward.

I looke forward to trying to make your job easier next year if you take up the mantle again.

Your friend
Rom

A big vote of thanks to Dare for all his efforts.  I have never cared so much about who finished 8th in a race before.

And a thank you to Wiz who keeps coming up with great prizes.

Thank you very much ,Dare! You did a fine job, old pal. By the way, who's this Fisi fellow in the print? ;)

Thanks Wiz for the gift and everyone for the thanks.
The reason I started the Grid Game was to try and
get everyone involved in the forum and it looks like
I succeeded.

Thanks again everyone and I'm looking forward
next years game and making new friends :D

                One happy Yank :D
