Nissan gets faster on a track day!

The new Nissan GT-R is an incredibly fast piece of kit, 197mph in fact. However, in Japan it is limited to a mere 111mph - unless your on a track day!

Believe it or not the car uses its built in GPS system to confirm that it has arrived at a qualifying track and automatically removes the speed limiter! Thus enabling the driver to enjoy the full potential of this new Japanese super car.

Apparently in the US they have limited the car to 156mph, but they haven’t integrated it with the GPS. It is not clear yet whether the GT-R will have a limiter in place when it arrives in the UK.
