Alonso no role model

Lewis Hamilton says he will use Fernando Alonso's behaviour at McLaren last year as an example of how not to behave in formula one.

"He showed me just how not to behave as an F1 driver," Hamilton, referring to Alonso, told the Associated Press at this week's Valencia test.

The AP report added that Hamilton said he hoped 'he would act more professionally than Alonso if put in the same situation as a reigning world champion working with a rookie teammate'.

"He was (the leader) at the beginning, wasn't he, but it changed. Well, he thought he was at the beginning," Hamilton said.

"But I don't think that should be the case, we should be a team. It should be equal," he added.

Just give it a few years and put a super quick rookie, who incidentally has been mentored by the team boss, alongside Lewis when he joins a new team for the first time and see if he still feels exactly the same way.
