F1 and common sense in the one article

Prodrive boss David Richards has finally said what some of us though was bleedin' obvious.  Budget caps won't work in F1.  Apparently they tried them in the Australian V8 Supercar championship.  They lasted one seaon and were scrapped.

Richards points out the obvious conclusion is that the sport needs better technical regulations.  At last.

Maybe he should go for Max's job.  He is an operator on the grand scale and not afraid to delegate the running of some of his businesses to others.  I am sure he could fit in a little part time amateur job.  Maybe he is too much of a competitor.  Imagine someone professional, competent and someone who knows how to run a successful team running the FIA.
